Ten Kate
Ten Kate Vetten B.V. was founded in the Netherlands by the Ten Kate Family in 1920 and has 95 years of history. It is now one of the leading lard producers in Europe; all pigs used to produce lard are from EU countries and slaughterhouses are strictly controlled by the European Union (EU); fat is derived from the quality fatty parts of the pig, the back and the belly; and, refining lard is made by steam distillation. The factory has a number of factory certifications and is strictly controlled by the food laboratory.
