An elegant tea legend with 300 years of aromatic history started in 1706, when Mr. Thomas Twining who was passionate for black tea, made different blends of tea flavor according to the needs of different time sections of the day. Not only did he soothe the royal aristocracy's demanding taste buds but also led the immortal glorious black tea of British Empire. The founder, Mr. Thomas Twining opened a shop at No. 216 Strand Street, London, in 1717; it was the first store in the world selling tealeaves and coffee at the same time. After the three-century history, this shop is still active in Strand Street and has become Twinings Museum of tealeaves, a must-visit shop attracting black tea fans to pay a visit and the most preferred store for local people as well as a famous tourist attraction in London.
